Role Overview
Park Inn by Radisson Shannon Airport is looking for a Night Porter to become part of its overnight team. In this position, you will help keep the hotel operating efficiently while most guests and staff are asleep. You will be a reassuring presence for late arrivals through Shannon Airport, support early departures, and make sure visitors feel secure, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the night.
This opportunity is well suited to someone who works well on their own, enjoys taking ownership of tasks, and likes getting everything ready for the next day.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests arriving late at night and help with early-morning departures.
- Support the front desk with overnight check-ins, check-outs, and guest questions.
- Carry out routine security checks and patrols to help protect the hotel.
- Contribute to night audit tasks and keep records accurate and up to date.
- Make sure the property is prepared for the next day’s business.
Additional Duties
- Complete fire safety walks and raise any issues or incidents that need attention.
- Keep public areas tidy and presentable during the night.
- Provide light housekeeping support when needed.
- Set up meeting rooms and function spaces for the following day.
Working Pattern
The role is based on night shifts covering seven nights per week. Flexible arrangements are available for both full-time and part-time working, with shifts generally ranging from 2 to 5 per week depending on availability.

As part of a smaller overnight team, you will play an important role in keeping the hotel safe, organised, and ready for the day ahead. The employer is seeking someone who is observant, dependable, and proactive. Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is helpful but not required, as full training is provided.

Additional Information
