Manufacturing Technician

Role overview

This position is for a Manufacturing Technician in Singapore with a full-time, on-site work arrangement. The role supports production operations by meeting output goals, maintaining quality standards, and assisting in process control and continuous improvement activities.

Key duties

• Deliver the planned daily output while following the required workmanship and quality standards defined in the work instructions.
• Take part in multi-skill development programs and help train newly joined technicians on the job.
• Support the Manufacturing Supervisor or line second-in-charge in running one primary production line or process, which may include several sub-assembly stages.
• Identify and propose practical improvements that raise productivity and strengthen product quality.
• Collect and organize quality-related data for record keeping and engineering study purposes.
• Help manage production materials and carry out material cycle counts.
• Contribute actively to workplace safety, 5S practices, and environmentally responsible initiatives.
• Suggest rework approaches for returned material authorizations with the lowest possible cost.
• Perform troubleshooting on instruments that fail testing and evaluate parts as required by Engineering.
