Role Summary

Reporting to the VP of Talent, the Manager, People Systems and Data Analytics will oversee the stewardship, optimization, and ongoing improvement of Inkomoko’s people systems while promoting a data-led approach to workforce and talent decisions.

The role safeguards the accuracy, security, and usefulness of HR technology across multiple countries and turns people data into insights that inform strategic action. Working with country teams and senior leaders, this position will drive digital transformation, workforce analytics, and operational improvements to help build a scalable and high-performing People function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, improve, and continually optimize people systems such as HRIS, ATS, performance management, and learning platforms.
  • Work with IT and external vendors to deliver enhancements, integrations, and new technology solutions.
  • Keep systems secure, easy to use, and fit for growth across all countries.
  • Create and maintain executive dashboards, workforce metrics, and people reports.
  • Examine workforce patterns and translate the findings into recommendations that support recruitment, performance, retention, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Prepare accurate reports for leadership, the Board, and donor reporting needs.
  • Set and uphold strong standards for data quality, governance, and consistency in reporting.
  • Ensure people data remains accurate, complete, secure, and compliant across all systems.
  • Conduct routine audits and validation checks on data.
  • Spot opportunities to improve people processes through automation and technology.
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen efficiency, employee experience, and operational performance.
  • Harmonize systems and reporting approaches across countries.
  • Serve as the regional expert on people systems and analytics.
  • Train and guide People and Culture teams and managers on system usage, reporting, and data management.
  • Build productive partnerships with internal stakeholders and external system providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR systems, workforce analytics, or people technology, ideally in a regional or multi-country setting.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or managing HRIS, ATS, and similar HR technology tools.
  • Strong analytical ability, with a track record of building dashboards and turning workforce data into business insights.
  • Advanced Excel capability and practical use of reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or comparable platforms; SQL knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and information security principles.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse cultures in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
