Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled checks and maintenance work to keep the facility operating smoothly, including attention to electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and other core building services.
• Act quickly on maintenance requests and complete repairs, whether that means replacing parts, fixing equipment, or resolving building-related faults.
• Monitor compliance with safety rules and standards, perform routine safety inspections, and address hazards without delay.
• Service and look after maintenance tools, machinery, power equipment, and other assets used in day-to-day operations.
• Support painting and decorating work to help maintain the property’s appearance.
• Keep accurate logs of inspections, repair work, and completed maintenance activities.
• Track stocks of tools, supplies, and equipment so everything needed is available when required.
• Be ready to handle urgent issues such as leaks, flooding, power failures, and other emergency maintenance situations.
• Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance team and communicate politely and professionally with occupants and colleagues.

• Take a preventive approach by identifying possible issues early and addressing them before they develop into larger problems.

Requirements

• Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with plumbing systems, installations, and repairs.
