Role overview

We are looking for an experienced Logistician to support government programs with end-to-end logistics, supply chain coordination, and lifecycle sustainment. This position focuses on planning, executing, and monitoring logistics activities across multiple projects while ensuring all work aligns with federal requirements and operational goals.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and oversee logistics support for government contracts, programs, or agencies.
• Create and maintain key logistics records and plans, including support plans, acquisition logistics documents, supply support plans, and maintenance planning materials.
• Work in line with relevant government rules, standards, and procedures, including those used by DoD, DHS, GSA, and similar organizations.
• Review demand patterns, estimate supply requirements, and manage inventory, procurement, and distribution activities.
• Use logistics and inventory platforms such as GCSS-Army, DLMS, FLIS, FEDLOG, PIEE/WAWF, or comparable agency systems.
• Partner with teams in procurement, operations, finance, and project management to keep programs moving smoothly.
• Monitor logistics KPIs, prepare performance updates, and identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Support the full product life cycle through provisioning, spare parts analysis, and obsolescence management.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and information requests related to logistics operations.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a similar discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 to 5 years of logistics experience in a government, defense, or closely related environment.
• Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other applicable acquisition or compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with logistics databases, inventory tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and keep a Secret, Top Secret, or comparable security clearance, as required.

Preferred background

• Experience supporting Department of Defense logistics systems or programs.
• Military logistics experience such as MOS 92A, 88N, 92Y, or an equivalent background.
• Professional certifications in logistics or supply chain, such as DAWIA Level I/II/III in Life Cycle Logistics, APICS, PMP, or similar credentials.
• Exposure to Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Product Support Manager (PSM) functions.
