About the Role
This opportunity is with a well-funded, rapidly scaling semiconductor and AI computing business that is developing high-performance compute platforms at the overlap of advanced silicon, accelerators, and compiler technology. The team is growing its compiler function and is hiring experienced engineers at Senior through Staff level to build performance-focused, hardware-aware compiler systems that help shape next-generation compute products.
What You’ll Do
- Build, maintain, and improve LLVM-based as well as bespoke compiler toolchains.
- Tune compiler output for AI/ML and accelerator-oriented workloads to maximize performance.
- Work on low-level code generation, backend development, and other systems-level compiler challenges.
- Partner closely with architecture, silicon, and hardware specialists to influence real product outcomes.
What They’re Looking For
- Substantial hands-on experience in compiler engineering, with LLVM experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in C++.
- Solid background in systems programming, performance tuning, or hardware-aware software development.
- Experience with AI accelerators, CPUs, GPUs, or DSPs would be a strong advantage.
