The Lead, Visual role supports the store’s visual merchandising and display plans by working closely with store leadership and the District Visual Manager. What you will do

  • Work with the General Manager and District Visual Manager to plan, schedule, and deliver floorset timelines that support sales and seasonal presentation goals.
  • Oversee daily visual routines that keep markdowns, promotions, signage, replenishment, and recovery running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Adjust or substitute parts of corporate visual direction when needed to match the store’s layout, ownership, or customer base.
  • Review reporting and performance information to identify ways to improve profitability and overall business results.
  • Share inventory needs with the District Manager and distribution partners, alongside the General Manager, to improve sell-through, margin, and profitability.
  • Support the General Manager in monitoring associate productivity and visual execution standards.
  • Keep visual fixtures, supplies, and signage organized and communicate replenishment needs to leadership.
  • Help plan payroll usage and workload distribution effectively with the General Manager.
  • Assist in recognizing, encouraging, and developing team members.
  • Act as a learning partner for new hires and help deliver visual training and skill-building for the visual team.
  • Show strong customer focus and help connect customers with design support when needed.
  • Follow all safety, security, injury-prevention, and emergency procedures.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards at all times.
  • Help maintain a respectful, fair, and dignified workplace for all associates.
  • Take on other projects and tasks assigned by the management team.

What we are looking for

Requirements

  • Comfort with active work throughout the day, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting for long periods.
  • Preferred: 1 to 3 years of retail sales experience, including shift supervision.
  • Preferred: 1 to 2 years of experience in home-related design, visual merchandising, or stockroom work; specialty retail experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Physical demands

  • Must be able to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and move medium to large items weighing up to 75 lbs using the proper equipment and safe handling practices.

Availability

Full-time team members are expected to have open availability based on business needs. Part-time flex associates must be available for at least two scheduled weekend shifts across Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday, plus two weekday shifts from Monday to Thursday. If scheduled for 20 hours or more per week, greater availability than the minimum will be needed. Weekend availability must cover two different days; it cannot be the same day twice.

Compensation and benefits

The anticipated hourly pay for this position is between $21.00 and $24.00.
