Lab Assistant - Cement Plant

Role overview

We are looking for a safety-focused Lab Technician / Lab Assistant to join the Pinkenba team at a cement plant. Candidates with any level of experience are encouraged to apply.

Work schedule

This is a Monday to Friday day-shift position based onsite in Pinkenba, Queensland, Australia.

Key duties

• Support the team with materials testing activities.
• Assist with sampling and testing cement products.
• Record sample details and test results accurately.

What we are looking for

• A forklift licence, or a willingness to obtain one.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to work on your own and also collaborate well with others.
• A clear commitment to safe working methods.
• Capacity to successfully complete pre-employment screening.

Pre-employment checks

• Drug and alcohol screening.
• Medical assessment.
• Police check.
• Traffic history report.
