Role Overview
Capgemini is hiring experienced Java professionals who also bring practical exposure to Agentic AI and GenAI. This position is based across Bangalore, Pune, and Mumbai, with a hybrid work setup.
Technology Stack
The role calls for strong hands-on work in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, GitHub Copilot, MCP, and GenAI/Agentic AI, along with team leadership experience.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain software solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and web services.
- Work with legacy Java applications such as Struts and JSP, as well as RDBMS platforms and modern UI frameworks like Angular or React.
- Improve application performance and support issue analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause diagnosis for production problems.
- Apply GitHub Copilot effectively while understanding both its strengths and limitations.
- Lead development teams and help drive technical initiatives across the delivery lifecycle.
- Use prompt engineering techniques in software development and work with agentic AI concepts and workflows.
- Understand MCP and how it can be used in relevant tools and business use cases.
- Follow SDLC practices and contribute across all major phases of software delivery.
Experience Needed
Candidates should have 8 to 15 years of total experience, with roughly 10 to 12 years of practical software engineering experience in Java.
Notice Period
Only candidates who can join immediately or within 30 days will be considered.
Eligibility
Applicants should have a B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization or be any graduate.
