Role Overview

What You Will Do

• Remove and dispose of waste according to approved procedures and infection-control standards.
• Dust and damp mop floors using the required methods.
• Move furniture and equipment to complete cleaning tasks and restore them to their proper place afterward.
• Clean assigned areas with designated tools and supplies, including sanitizing surfaces and following the eight-step cleaning process.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other surfaces to help maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Identify areas that need attention and take initiative to finish the cleaning work.
• Complete duties assigned by the supervisor.
• Work in line with federal, state, and county requirements.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors, and shampoo carpets when needed.
• Support the team while maintaining professionalism with customers, coworkers, and others.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

Experience Needed

A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
