The company is hiring an experienced IT Project Manager who can excel in a fast-moving environment, partner closely with clients, and bring a solid grasp of IT services and project delivery. In this role, you will help drive successful outcomes by coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring projects are delivered with a high standard of execution.

What you'll do
You will own IT projects from launch to completion, keeping them aligned with schedule, scope, and budget. You will also serve as a central contact for clients, keep internal teams aligned, and support effective service delivery.
- Build and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Direct, support, and manage project engineers on the team, including coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback
- Take responsibility for departmental outcomes by understanding profitability, resource allocation, and the impact of projects on MSP growth
- Serve as the main client contact for project communication, providing updates and resolving concerns throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate technical resources so tasks are completed according to the project plan
- Keep project records accurate, including plans, schedules, budgets, change orders, and closure documents
- Identify, track, and address risks before they affect delivery
- Manage scope changes through a formal change control process to reduce scope creep and keep work aligned with business goals
- Guide projects from start to finish to meet expected outcomes and client satisfaction
- Run meetings and regular stakeholder updates to share status and remove roadblocks
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain clear communication among staff, clients, and vendors
- Review and provide feedback on non-technical project hour estimates
- Conduct post-project reviews and share lessons learned with the team to support continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related area, or equivalent hands-on experience
- At least 4 years of project management experience in a managed service provider environment
- Direct experience working with clients, vendors, and internal technical teams in a fast-paced service setting
- Proven ability to manage several IT projects at once while coordinating cross-functional teams toward successful delivery
- PMP certification preferred, or another relevant project management credential
- Strong understanding of IT fundamentals, infrastructure, and managed services, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to clients
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
- Experience using PSA and project management platforms such as ConnectWise Manage, Autotask, Asana, or Microsoft Project
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and best practices
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach
- Proactive problem-solving ability, including early risk detection and practical mitigation
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and follow-through
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

- Annual salary range of $90,000 to $110,000
