This role covers HR support across the employee lifecycle, working closely with business leaders, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

  • Act as a trusted HR partner to business leaders by identifying workforce requirements and shaping people solutions that support business objectives.
  • Run the recruitment process for Germany end to end, with support from the talent acquisition team, to secure strong candidates on time.
  • Develop employer branding initiatives and maintain a talent pipeline that can support future expansion.
  • Serve as the first contact for HR-related concerns and provide practical guidance on employee relations matters.
  • Ensure all HR practices follow local labour laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with local authorities, the works council, and other external contacts whenever needed.
  • Oversee the payroll service provider relationship so payroll is processed accurately and on schedule.
  • Review compensation practices to ensure policy alignment and compliance.
  • Advise on salary benchmarking and internal pay equity.
  • Help establish performance management frameworks suited to the company’s current stage of growth.
  • Support the rollout of training activities aligned with employee development needs and business priorities.
  • Handle day-to-day HR operations and administrative topics.
  • Work with external partners on visa applications, supplier coordination, and other local administrative matters.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings broad HR expertise, strong stakeholder management skills, and the confidence to operate independently in a growing business.

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
  • Good knowledge of local labour law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HR.
  • Prior experience working independently in a stand-alone HR role is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent command of both English and German, which is essential for local HR and administrative work.
  • Strong people skills and the ability to build trust with both local colleagues and international teams.
  • Ability to manage several priorities in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.
  • Experience in cross-cultural environments.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.

What we offer

  • The chance to help design HR practices from the beginning and make a visible impact.
  • A lively, international, and entrepreneurial workplace.
