Role Overview
The company is hiring an HRIS Administrator for its Richmond, Virginia team. This position is responsible for supporting the HR information system, maintaining accurate employee data, and helping HR operations run smoothly through reporting, process support, and system administration.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the HRIS platform, including system setup, data accuracy, and issue resolution.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics that help guide HR decisions.
- Act as a key contact for HR data processing and employee transactions, helping HR team members submit information accurately and on time.
- Check HR documents for completeness and prepare them for processing according to company procedures.
- Update employee job details in the system while maintaining data integrity and meeting payroll cutoffs.
- Process personnel changes quickly and correctly in line with company policy and payroll timelines.
- Support the handling and upkeep of personnel files and related requests in an efficient manner.
- Provide responsive customer service and address user questions or issues proactively.
- Assist with system upgrades, testing, and rollout of new HRIS modules and features.
- Train HR employees and system users on functionality and best practices.
- Ensure employee data handling remains compliant with company policies and legal standards.
- Run recurring audits to confirm the accuracy and consistency of HRIS records.
- Look for ways to automate HR processes and improve workflows.
- Control user permissions, access levels, and system security within the HR platform.
- Help connect UKG with other business systems such as payroll and timekeeping tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a similar discipline, or equivalent training and experience.
- Prior experience in an HRIS Administrator role or a comparable position, with hands-on exposure to UKG products such as Kronos Workforce Central, UKG Pro, or related solutions.
- Solid knowledge of HR processes, including payroll, time and attendance, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Ability to work with reporting tools, data analytics, and HR metrics.
- Preferred but not mandatory: familiarity with SQL or another query language.
- Preferred but not mandatory: SHRM, PHR, or another relevant professional certification.
