Role overview

Oceania is hiring a part-time Housekeeper for its Redwood village in Blenheim. The position sits within a committed team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

Key duties

• Support day-to-day cleaning and laundry tasks across the site.
• Keep residents’ shared areas and living spaces clean and tidy.
• Work in line with established procedures so all areas remain sanitised, secure, and free from hazards.
• Carry out a varied range of housekeeping tasks as required.

What you should bring

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and safe use of cleaning products.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• A cooperative, team-oriented approach.
• Warm manner and respect for residents.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work rotating rostered shifts.
• Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.
