Within the group, Sureserve Compliance South focuses on heating services for social housing customers across London and the South East. The team supports domestic gas, commercial gas, renewable energy, and electrical work, and is recognised as one of London’s largest gas contractors. The business emphasises long-term client contracts, which are intended to provide greater job stability and room to progress.

Role overview

This position is responsible for managing assigned gas installation work from start to finish, making sure the job is completed safely, correctly, and within the agreed timeframe.

Key responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the daily management of each installation allocated to you.
• Carry out the installation in line with the survey details, client requirements, and all relevant regulations.
• Escalate any issues that prevent the job from being completed as required to the installation supervisor.
• Prepare and submit all contract-related paperwork at the time of installation, including obtaining the required signatures.
• Work in a professional and polite manner, respect customers’ property, and keep the work area clean and tidy.
• Attend recall visits when requested by the installation supervisor.
• Finish each assigned installation within the scheduled time limit.
• Complete all required documentation, including timesheets and health and safety monitoring forms.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures and standards at all times.
• Ensure all certification and supporting records are completed accurately.

Requirements

• Valid ACS certification and other relevant gas qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Previous experience in social housing is preferred but not essential.
• Proven ability to deliver strong customer service.
• Comfort working with customers from varied backgrounds.
