Freelance Software Engineer - AI Trainer

Overview

This role is for an experienced freelance software engineer who can help improve AI systems by working on coding tasks. You would join a large global community of technical contributors spanning front-end, back-end, full-stack, machine learning, and related engineering backgrounds. The work is centered on real-world AI development and involves shaping how intelligent models learn and respond.

What the work involves

You will tackle a mix of programming assignments, including creating and solving difficult coding challenges, building polished applications with useful features, and drawing insights from data through analysis and visualization. The position is flexible, allowing some people to combine it with another full-time job while others use it as their main source of work, depending on availability and personal goals.

Selection process

After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the screening step. If you clear it, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will be unlocked on the platform.

Responsibilities

• Create and solve a variety of coding problems used to train AI systems, with a focus on Android development.
• Produce clean code examples and explain them clearly and thoroughly.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
• Share feedback that helps improve the next generation of AI models.

Qualifications

• Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level.
• Preferred hands-on experience with Kotlin.
• Working knowledge of at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
• Excellent written communication, grammar, and explanation skills.
• A bachelor’s degree, either completed or currently being pursued.
• Prior experience as a software developer, coder, software engineer, or programmer is an advantage.

This is an independent contractor role. Payment is processed through PayPal, and you will never be asked to pay any money to participate. Any currency conversion from USD is handled by PayPal.
