This Finance Analyst role focuses on financial reporting oversight, analysis, and documentation. The position supports rolling forecasts covering 3 to 12 months, month-end close activities, and a range of accounting and finance tasks. It also contributes to non-trade inter-company transactions. The role includes guiding 1 to 2 junior finance team members through coaching, coordination, and delegation of day-to-day work, without direct budget or hiring/firing authority.

Key responsibilities

• Help build 3-12 month business forecasts by analyzing mobile device unit sales, wholesale pricing, cost of goods sold, and overhead costs, while tracking market and business changes that affect financial visibility for leadership.
• Support month-end closing by working with the SAP Controlling (CO) module and helping ensure proper recognition of revenue and COGS, along with accurate expense allocation across profit segments and cost centers.
• Prepare financial reports for management review, making sure the information is accurate and delivered on time.
• Coordinate monthly inter-company transaction activities and follow up on requests to help preserve appropriate margin levels for the HQ Support Division.
• Assist with finance and administrative initiatives assigned by management, including royalty calculations, litigation-related financial preparation, and other ad hoc work.
• Prepare materials and scenario simulations to support decision-making during uncertain economic conditions, including situations involving changing tariffs.
• Guide and support 1 to 2 junior finance professionals by organizing work, delegating tasks, and providing coaching as needed.

Required qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, or similar finance-related work.
• Strong analytical ability with the skill to interpret financial trends and data.
• Solid Excel proficiency; familiarity with SAP or another ERP platform is considered an advantage.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams across departments.
• Background in financial analysis or operational analysis is preferred.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Plano, Texas.
