Role Overview

This position sits within the procurement and vendor management function, with responsibility for sourcing suppliers, handling purchase workflows, and supporting smooth, compliant purchasing operations.

Key Responsibilities

You will identify and assess possible suppliers by reviewing quality, pricing, dependability, and delivery capability. The role includes maintaining strong vendor partnerships while making sure compliance requirements are met and operations remain cost-effective.

You will gather quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and build rate cards. A key part of the job is e-sourcing through the Ariba system.

Other duties include converting Purchase Requisitions into Purchase Orders within SLA timelines, ensuring all required approvals, supporting documents, and quotations are in place, and confirming that vendors accept POs and deliver materials or services on time.

You will also work on resolving issues related to delivery, quality, and pricing; ensuring invoices are processed promptly; supporting payment release as per PO terms; and making sure all documentation is available for payment processing. Supplier onboarding with complete documentation and approvals is also part of the role.

The position requires adherence to company procurement policies as well as relevant legal and regulatory standards. You will track and share procurement metrics such as PR-to-PO turnaround time, cost savings, vendor performance, and lead times.

Experience Required

The expected experience range is 5 to 7 years.

Education Required

Applicants should have a graduation degree in Biotechnology or Engineering. A master’s degree in Biotechnology or Medicinal Chemistry is also specified.
