The Experts, Stylists, and Retail Strategy and Operations teams are brand ambassadors who know the technology thoroughly and bring it to life for shoppers and owners. They represent Dyson on the retail floor and connect customers with the company’s innovative products.
About the Role
Dyson is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic retail professional to join its Expert Team in Singapore. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys representing a global technology brand and is motivated by creating memorable customer experiences.
The position centers on consultative selling and helping customers choose the product that best fits their needs. The goal is not only to make a sale, but also to ensure shoppers understand the product well enough to become satisfied owners who are happy to recommend it to others.
What You Will Do
- Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support to every visitor, making satisfaction a priority throughout the journey.
- Increase sales through strong product knowledge, active customer engagement, and a commercially driven mindset on the sales floor.
- Own and contribute to the achievement of individual and team sales targets and KPI goals.
- Build trust with customers through a genuine, transparent, and relationship-focused approach that encourages repeat purchases.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues to help improve store performance.
- Stay visible and proactive on the floor so you can identify customer needs and recommend the most suitable product.
- Assist with daily store operations, including merchandising, maintaining store presentation, and following company policies and procedures.
- Support onboarding and development of junior team members by sharing selling techniques, upselling approaches, and practical guidance.
- Represent Dyson’s values and culture through consistent performance and a strong work ethic.
About You
You should bring at least 4 years of professional retail sales experience and a strong focus on client service. Experience in technology, prestige, or luxury retail will be considered an advantage.
The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial attitude, a business-oriented mindset, and a proven record of meeting or surpassing sales quotas. You should also be a strong team player who can build productive relationships within Dyson and with third-party retail partners.
Success in this role also requires independence, self-motivation, a proactive attitude, and the ability to solve problems effectively. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are essential, along with a flexible approach to selling.
This role requires comfort with retail working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
