Role overview
Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI), part of McKesson, is seeking a Data Coordinator in Nashville, TN. SCRI is a major community-based oncology research organization focused on improving cancer treatment and patient outcomes through clinical trials and advanced research. What the role involves
The Data Coordinator supports the Study Coordinator each day and helps make sure study work follows company SOPs as well as all relevant Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ICH rules and guidance.
- Assist the Study Coordinator in meeting clinical trial data timelines.
- Collect source records for patients enrolled in clinical studies.
- Help complete case report forms and resolve data queries.
- Support reporting and tracking of Serious Adverse Events (SAEs).
- Prepare and update patient visit tracking spreadsheets.
- Maintain and file study administrative records.
- Take on special procedural assignments that improve Drug Development Data Operations.
- Monitor compliance with SCRI SOPs, GCP, and ICH requirements throughout the trial lifecycle.
What you should bring
Preferred candidates will have familiarity with scientific, medical, and regulatory terminology, along with a working understanding of GCP and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Strong attention to detail and excellent written and spoken English are important for success in this role. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and prior exposure to healthcare, clinical trial support, or the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
