Role Overview
The Data Analyst – Operations supports the Restaurant & Catering Operations team by preparing data, generating insights, and building dashboards that help shape strategic reporting and immediate ad-hoc requests. This position works closely with Data Product Managers to keep data accurate, usable, and aligned with company standards.
By turning raw information into practical insights, the analyst helps teams make better decisions and improve overall performance. This role sits within the Data Product Team supporting operations for restaurants and catering.

What You Will Do
- Extract, clean, and reshape datasets for reporting and analysis.
- Check the accuracy of data behind new metrics, dashboards, and analytical tools.
- Handle both quick-turn ad-hoc requests and longer-term reporting needs.
- Build interactive dashboards and reports that reflect business priorities and user experience best practices.
- Use enterprise visualization templates to keep branding and presentation consistent.
- Improve dashboards so they scale well, remain easy to use, and perform efficiently.
- Work with Data Product Managers to understand business needs and domain context.
- Coordinate with Data Engineers to align on business logic and data source integration.
- Create and apply data quality checks that support governance requirements.
- Partner with product owners to refine designs and enhance the end-user experience.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2–5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, or Python, for querying and transforming data.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Comfort working with both structured and semi-structured data.
- Strong attention to detail and solid problem-solving ability.
Preferred:
- Experience using Python or R for data preparation and analysis.
- Exposure to cloud-based data environments such as Snowflake or Databricks.
- Understanding of data governance and quality assurance practices.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain in a stationary position while using a computer and other office equipment.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and evaluate details accurately.
- For some positions, ability to occasionally move or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to communicate and exchange information clearly and accurately with others.
- Ability to stay in motion as needed to support restaurant, food production, or office operations.
- Ability to work attentively and safely at all times.

- All exempt and non-exempt employees are eligible for benefits.
