About the Role
Merakey is hiring a Data Analyst to support its Adult Behavioral Health division. This role is designed for someone who enjoys turning data into practical insights that help improve outcomes, strengthen accountability, and guide service delivery in a mission-driven behavioral health environment. The position is remote with a hybrid structure, and it includes occasional travel to sites.
The analyst will act as a partner in quality transformation by helping shape how the division uses data to tell its story, track performance, and support continuous improvement. The work involves close collaboration with operational, quality, compliance, IT, and system-of-care teams.
Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will build and support analytic tools such as dashboards, reports, and risk models. You will also turn complex information into clear findings that can be used to improve consumer outcomes and service effectiveness.
You will develop outcome reporting, identify trends that influence decisions, and help leaders show service quality with evidence-based reporting. The role also includes preparing white papers, presentations, and outcome summaries, along with communicating findings to staff, leadership, and other stakeholders.
Day-to-day work will require strong organization, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and comfort working within tight deadlines. You will also help maintain a customer-focused approach that supports a better consumer experience and stay current on regulatory requirements, internal policies, and service offerings.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in behavioral health sciences, and a useful understanding of statistics. At least 1 year of experience in data, analytics, and statistics is required.
Strong technical ability is important, including experience with data collection, analysis, interpretation, and visualization. You should be comfortable working in Excel and other database platforms, and familiarity with Power BI dashboards and reporting is an advantage. Experience with Avatar or similar EHR systems is also helpful.
Excellent communication skills are needed for writing reports and presenting insights clearly. The role also calls for analytical thinking, a demonstrated ability to work in data-driven settings, and experience creating outcomes that support better decisions.
Good organizational skills, multitasking ability, and the capacity to perform well in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings are important. Customer service experience is preferred, especially if it has helped you improve user or consumer experience. Knowledge of healthcare or human services operations, as well as familiarity with regulations, policies, and service structures, will be beneficial.
Compensation and Work Schedule
This full-time position pays $24.04 per hour and follows a 40-hour workweek.
