Overview
South Louisiana Community College is hiring a Custodian 2 for its Lafayette Campus. This is a full-time classified Civil Service role, with evening shift opportunities available. Pay will be determined by prior experience and prevailing market conditions.
Role Summary
The position calls for someone with a sharp eye for detail, prior experience in cleaning commercial buildings, and a polished, professional presence.
Key Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all indoor areas, including offices, hallways, restrooms, auditoriums, and similar spaces.
- Carry out regular cleaning, care, and basic upkeep of floor surfaces and flooring systems.
- Handle urgent custodial needs that arise anywhere on campus grounds.
- Complete additional deep-cleaning assignments according to established cleaning calendars and schedules.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly pay is listed at $11.00 to $17.00, depending on experience and market conditions.
