About the Role
This position is for a creative Content Writer who can shape engaging copy for digital channels and social platforms. The role calls for someone with a sharp eye for detail, strong storytelling skills, and hands-on experience producing content for tourism, culture, lifestyle, or public communication initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop polished content for social media, websites, blogs, campaign collaterals, and marketing communication.
- Write persuasive captions, feature articles, video scripts, press notes, and other communication materials.
- Study local trends, cultural narratives, and audience preferences to produce relevant and timely content.
- Work closely with designers, photographers, and marketing teams to support coordinated campaigns.
- Make sure all copy follows brand standards and supports campaign goals.
- Edit and proofread material to maintain accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in content writing.
- Excellent English writing ability; familiarity with North Eastern regional languages is an added advantage.
- Prior exposure to social media writing and campaign communication work.
- Comfortable managing several assignments at once while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Writing scripts for reels and short-form videos.
- SEO-focused content development.
- Experience with communication projects in government, tourism, or development-related sectors.
Location Preference
The role is based in North East India, with preference for candidates from Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Tripura, and Sikkim.
