Opportunity Overview
This role is with a major organisation in the data centre space and is focused on supporting large-scale mission-critical developments across Saudi Arabia. The position is suited to a commercially aware, well-organised professional who wants to grow in a high-paced project setting.
You will work alongside senior commercial leaders and provide support across procurement, contract administration, commercial reporting, and governance for multiple high-value construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Help drive the procurement process by drafting RFPs, RFQs, tender packs, and procurement schedules.
- Manage tender clarifications, bid submissions, commercial paperwork, and meeting documentation.
- Keep procurement trackers, supplier records, tender registers, and approval logs up to date.
- Support the preparation and administration of consultant appointments, service agreements, framework agreements, NDAs, and construction contracts.
- Monitor contract progress, deliverables, variations, claims, and final close-out actions.
- Coordinate with Commercial, Legal, Finance, and Project teams to ensure contracts are administered accurately.
- Assist with commercial governance by maintaining templates, procedures, approval flows, and document control arrangements.
- Prepare commercial summaries, procurement dashboards, tender reviews, and cost reports for senior stakeholders.
- Track purchase requests, commitments, budgets, and commercial exposure.
- Support pricing analysis, bid comparisons, and recommendation documents.
- Spot commercial risks, missing documentation, and compliance issues, and escalate when needed.
- Work closely with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to keep commercial processes efficient and consistent.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Law, or a similar field.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in Commercial, Procurement, Contract Administration, Project Controls, or Construction Administration.
- Background in tendering, procurement, contract administration, and commercial reporting on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience handling commercial records, approval workflows, procurement trackers, and vendor management processes.
- Strong working knowledge of procurement methods, contract administration, governance, and commercial compliance.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and document management platforms.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several priorities at once.
- Experience in data centres is highly preferred; professionals from critical infrastructure environments such as power, utilities, hospitals, airports, telecoms, industrial facilities, or complex MEP projects are also welcome.
- Experience in GCC countries or Saudi Arabia is preferred.
