Clinical Educator

Role overview

Inizio Engage partners with a major biotechnology company across commercial, patient solutions, and medical affairs functions. The organization is hiring a Clinical Educator to provide disease-state education to selected healthcare professionals and office teams in primary care and specialist settings. This role uses approved educational materials to support a defined disease area while following program standards, compliance rules, and the expectations of Inizio leadership and the client.

What you will do

• Deliver detailed education on disease states and related care pathways to healthcare providers.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with key customers and stakeholders through approved educational content.
• Work strictly within legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements when handling materials, conversations, and activities.
• Operate within the client’s defined boundaries while coordinating with field colleagues.
• Complete all required Inizio and client training modules and competency checks within the assigned deadlines.
• Keep accurate daily records of office interactions and submit all required reports on time.
• Log time and expenses using the designated Inizio systems.
• Maintain any required professional registration or licensure under Inizio expectations and state law.
• Attend local and national meetings or conferences when requested to stay current on program updates and share best practices.
• Care for company and client equipment and materials according to instructions.
• Follow company policy, the code of conduct, and external industry regulations in all work activities.
• Remain reachable during working hours to handle inquiries and complete responsibilities.
• Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license at all times and report any violations or accumulation of penalty points to Inizio without delay.
• Manage the assigned territory effectively and travel as needed, including overnight trips.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
• This position does not include nursing care, medical or treatment advice, or promotion of pharmaceutical products.

Experience and qualifications

• You must be a qualified healthcare professional with an active state license; Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse is preferred.
• An Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, BSN, or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
• At least 3+ years of experience in a specific disease state or related area is needed; respiratory experience is preferred.
• Background in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry as a clinical educator or in sales is preferred.
• You should have strong professional communication and presentation abilities.
• Comfort presenting to physicians and a range of office staff is necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively, are important.
• You must be able to manage multiple responsibilities and competing territory priorities.
• A self-driven approach with strong personal motivation is expected.
• Ongoing professional development and commitment to keeping clinical knowledge current are essential.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays, is required, and you must live within the assigned territory.
• You should be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and use standard office equipment.
