Chartered Accountant

Role overview

We are seeking a meticulous accounting professional who is comfortable managing complete bookkeeping and finance operations. Prior exposure to manufacturing environments, especially steel or metallurgy, and practical experience with Tally Prime are important for this role.

What you will do

• Take ownership of routine accounting activities and keep records accurate and up to date.
• Record and maintain books of accounts in Tally Prime.
• Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and review ledger balances carefully.
• Handle inventory-related accounting, with preference for candidates from manufacturing backgrounds.
• Work with auditors and support compliance-related activities.

What we are looking for

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Tally Prime.
• Experience in a manufacturing setup, ideally in steel or metallurgy.
• Clear understanding of GST, TDS, and taxation concepts.
• Ability to use MS Excel effectively.
• Good analytical ability and strong organizational habits.
