Role Summary

This full-time Carpenter position is based in Dubai and includes a mix of on-site work and selected work-from-home tasks such as planning, record keeping, and coordination. The role involves measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and related materials for joinery, cabinetry, doors, partitions, and interior finishing work. You will also review drawings, choose suitable materials, operate hand tools and power tools safely, and ensure all work meets the required specifications and quality benchmarks.

What You Will Do

• Carry out daily carpentry tasks involving measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other materials.
• Build and install joinery items, cabinets, doors, partitions, and interior finish components.
• Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications accurately before starting work.
• Select materials that match the project requirements and intended finish.
• Use hand tools and power tools responsibly and in line with safety practices.
• Work with supervisors, other trades, and clients to keep projects moving smoothly.
• Maintain clean, organized tools and work areas.
• Follow safety rules and use protective equipment correctly at all times.
• Visit sites when needed and handle troubleshooting, minor repairs, or adjustments for ongoing jobs.
• Support planning, documentation, and coordination tasks when remote work is appropriate.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have strong carpentry capability, including structural work and precise wood fabrication. Experience with framing, finish carpentry, reading technical drawings, and working in construction, fit-out, or maintenance environments is important. You should also be comfortable using both hand and power tools, understand workplace safety standards, and be able to work independently or as part of a team with solid communication and time management skills.

This role may involve occasional site visits, troubleshooting, and minor repair work as required by active projects. The job is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is intended for candidates comfortable with a hybrid working arrangement.
