Deskripsi pekerjaan

About the role

This position sits within a major mixed-use programme in Riyadh. The wider development includes more than 200 individual projects spanning cultural and heritage assets, food and beverage, retail, hospitality, commercial buildings, and education facilities.

The role is focused on leading the setup, delivery, and day-to-day running of a broad risk management service in support of the PMO commission. It also involves providing leadership, direction, and guidance to people across the client organisation, the PMO team, and the wider business where needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the leadership of risk management performance and put effective frameworks and approaches in place across assigned commissions.
  • Serve as a dependable advisor and technical authority while developing strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Guide clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams on all matters related to risk management.
  • Carry out quantitative risk analysis for both cost and schedule, and advise on whether contingency allowances are sufficient within reporting cycles.
  • Make sure work complies with Mace Control Centre requirements, client obligations, and all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support junior risk managers through line management, coaching, mentoring, and career development.
  • Promote innovation and keep methods aligned with leading industry practice to deliver high-quality service.
  • Embed sustainability by incorporating carbon risk considerations into project delivery and supporting the transition toward net zero.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in risk management on large, complex construction projects.
  • Strong command of risk tools, methods, and reporting platforms.
  • Well-developed planning, analytical, and communication abilities.
  • A relevant degree together with chartered status or professional membership.

Values and working culture

The organisation’s values emphasise safety, client commitment, integrity, and creating opportunities for people to grow and succeed. The working environment is intended to be safe, inclusive, and supportive, with a strong focus on wellbeing, compliance, continuous improvement, and long-term client relationships.

Additional information

The employer is open to hearing from a diverse range of candidates and encourages applications even where not every criterion is met. Flexible, part-time, and hybrid working arrangements may be discussed if they fit the requirements of the role.
