Overview
This position is being recruited for a Haystack partner in Berlin, Germany. The role combines office administration and accounting support within a hotel environment, with close coordination between the hotel team and Head Office Controlling.
What you will do
- Provide day-to-day back-office support to the hotel team across administrative and accounting activities.
- Take responsibility for the hotel’s accounting and administrative workflows in line with Head Office Controlling requirements.
- Process invoices digitally, including posting entries and running payment batches.
- Compile weekly and monthly reports and statistical updates.
- Keep office operations organised and handle routine administrative duties.
- Serve as a main point of contact between hotel management and the Head Office Controlling team.
What you need
- A completed commercial apprenticeship or hotel industry apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in accounting.
- Strong organisational ability and a careful, quality-focused working style with a service mindset.
- Clear, confident communication and strong spoken German and English.
- The ability to work independently and stay structured when managing tasks.
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to assist other departments when needed.
