Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting compliance and audit-related work. This role requires strong attention to detail, good knowledge of invoicing and taxation processes, and comfort working with accounting software and spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, bill settlements, and GST-related compliance tasks.
• Create and verify sales invoices, purchase invoices, tax invoices, and other financial paperwork with accuracy.
• Track deadlines and support the timely filing of TDS/TCS returns along with necessary reconciliations.
• Update and preserve complete financial records in Tally.
• Assist in audit preparation by compiling documents, records, and other requested information.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Applicants should have 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting or a closely related role, with practical exposure to invoicing, Tally, GST, billing, and invoice preparation.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university is required.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel, is expected for reporting and data analysis tasks.
