This role sits within the Sales Solutions team, which works to reshape the sales experience through Sales Navigator, LinkedIn’s core product for building valuable buyer-seller relationships. As a Hybrid Account Executive, you will help prospective customers understand the business value of Sales Navigator using a consultative and socially driven sales approach. The position is based in Bangalore, Gurgaon, or Mumbai, and follows a hybrid model with a mix of remote work and office presence based on team needs.
Key responsibilities
- Research customer accounts in advance, understand their goals, and prepare relevant questions and insights before meetings.
- Encourage customers, the organization, and yourself to adopt a new approach to delivering value through connections.
- Use your own experience and customer feedback to improve the product and the sales process over time.
- Build territory plans, execute them strategically, and maintain dependable sales forecasts.
- Consistently exceed the revenue and business targets defined in your plan.
- Generate revenue by engaging customers and uncovering opportunities that support success for all stakeholders.
- Document and share best practices that can help form the operating foundation for a growing team.
- Bring market feedback to Product and Marketing teams so the voice of the customer informs decisions.
- Apply commercial judgment to business planning by weighing market, industry, and company factors from a customer-focused perspective.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in a sales role where revenue targets or quota attainment are part of the job.
- Prior exposure to a SaaS environment is preferred.
- Experience using LinkedIn professionally for sales is preferred.
- Strong record of exceeding quota in a large, fast-growing organization is preferred.
- Proven ability to identify, manage, and close senior-level business opportunities.
- Ability to evaluate business potential and understand buyer behavior.
- Capability to forecast accurately and consistently deliver against business objectives.
- Comfort using insights and data to guide sales decisions.
- Experience building trust-based relationships with senior sales professionals is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Sales Navigator is preferred.
