Next Step Talents Private Limited is seeking an accounting intern to support its finance operations in Kolkata. The role is designed for a detail-focused candidate who wants practical exposure to day-to-day accounting work and the chance to learn from experienced professionals.

What you will do

• Help prepare financial statements and routine reports using Tally.
• Keep financial data up to date and organized in MS Excel.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable work.
• Reconcile bank statements and check transactions for accuracy.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Contribute to financial analysis and reporting tasks.
• Take on additional accounting-related assignments and team support work as needed.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open only to candidates who can commit to a full-time, in-office internship, begin between 24th Jun'26 and 29th Jul'26, and stay for 3 months. Applicants must be from Kolkata, New Town only and should have relevant skills and interest in accounting and finance.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be quick to learn, communicate clearly, and already be comfortable working with Tally and MS Excel. A strong interest in accounting and a careful approach to detail are important for success in this role.
