Role Overview
As a Termite Technician, you will carry out termite treatment work safely and in line with company procedures and accepted industry practices.
What You Will Do
- Assess termite-related issues at customer locations and use your understanding of termite behavior and habits to decide the appropriate corrective approach.
- Explain to customers the conditions that can encourage termite activity and discuss any procedures or structural changes that may support the treatment process.
- Move in and out of buildings and crawl spaces, climb on and over structures, and use stairs and ladders as needed.
- Work with inspection and application tools, including small hand tools and power hammer drills.
- Perform duties in varying environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp areas, and dusty spaces.
- Keep equipment and the company vehicle clean and in proper working condition.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience is needed; experience in termite control is an advantage.
- You should have strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- You must be comfortable with a flexible schedule, including Mondays through Fridays and Saturdays when needed.
- You need the ability to obtain and maintain any licenses or certifications required by federal, state, and local rules.
- A valid driver's license from your state of residence is mandatory.
Compensation
The hourly wage for this position is $20.00 to $28.00.
