Technical Sourcing Specialist

Role Overview

This position is for a meticulous, self-driven Technical Sourcing Specialist who can locate and engage strong talent in Information Security and Cybersecurity. The focus of the job is strictly on sourcing and building candidate pipelines; it does not include stakeholder management duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and run focused sourcing approaches to find cybersecurity professionals across relevant channels such as professional networks, code repositories, and job boards.
• Develop and keep an active pool of candidates for roles including Security Analysts, SOC Engineers, Penetration Testers, Security Architects, GRC Specialists, and Cloud Security Engineers.
• Apply advanced search methods like Boolean search, X-ray search, and competitive talent research.
• Reach out to candidates and complete early screening to gauge interest and confirm basic fit.
• Record candidate details accurately and track sourcing activity and performance in the ATS.
• Keep up to date with trends in cybersecurity hiring, certifications, and evolving technologies.
• Work with recruiters to transfer suitable candidates for the next stages of evaluation.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in technical sourcing, specifically within Information Security or Cybersecurity hiring.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, job families, and certifications such as CISSP, CEH, and OSCP.
• Hands-on experience with sourcing platforms and tools such as recruiter search tools, ATS platforms, and CRM systems.
• Strong investigative and analytical ability to identify hard-to-find talent.
• Clear written communication skills for outreach and candidate engagement.
• Capability to handle several sourcing assignments at the same time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting global cybersecurity hiring teams.
• Background in high-volume sourcing environments is advantageous.
• Technical education or cybersecurity-related certification will be considered a plus.
