Role Overview
The Revenue team is expanding and looking for energetic, ambitious Sales Development Representatives to help grow DevRev’s customer base and create a strong sales pipeline. The role focuses on reaching prospects in local and US markets. It also offers the chance to help improve go-to-market messaging and share feedback with Product and Engineering teams.
What You Will Do
- Identify potential customers and reach out to them through outbound sales efforts.
- Assess leads to determine whether they are a good fit for the sales process.
- Schedule meetings between prospects and the sales team.
- Explain the product’s value clearly and confidently to prospects.
- Work toward assigned sales targets and performance goals.
- Record calls, activities, and customer details accurately in the CRM.
- Coordinate closely with sales and marketing teams.
Typical Work Week
- Research target accounts, including company background, decision-makers, needs, and contact information.
- Reach out to prospects by phone, email, networking, and social media to create sales opportunities.
- Book appointments so leads can meet with the sales team virtually.
- Keep sales records and activity reports organized, current, and accurate in the system.
Candidate Profile
- At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
- Strong communication skills across written, spoken, and visual formats.
- Experience arranging meetings through social platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter.
- Good relationship-building and interpersonal abilities through social networking.
- Comfort speaking with senior-level prospects on the phone and appearing on camera for Zoom calls, webinars, or sales videos.
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms and outbound sales tools such as Outreach and ZoomInfo.
