About the Role

Vertex Education is seeking a Recruiter to help schools bring in strong talent that supports student achievement. In this role, you will work closely with school leaders, hiring managers, and the HR team to manage recruiting across a range of school-based positions such as teachers, aides, office personnel, and administrators. You will handle sourcing, screening, candidate presentation, interview coordination, offer support, and pipeline building while contributing to a service-oriented hiring experience.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • At least 2 years of recruiting experience, ideally in a setting with multiple hiring managers and concurrent open roles.
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing through screening, interview coordination, and offer extension.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems and other recruiting technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities and multiple requisitions.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Preferred background includes recruiting for K-12 schools, charter schools, or other education organizations.
  • Preferred experience recruiting teachers, school leaders, and other school-based staff.
  • Helpful knowledge of education hiring trends, certification requirements, and educator labor markets.
  • Experience in high-volume or multi-site recruiting environments is preferred.
