Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview

This position is for a Mechanical Engineer working on a residential high-rise building project in Dubai. The role focuses on supporting MEP design improvements, coordinating execution on site, and ensuring progress, quality, and safety are maintained throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities

• Review the project design and propose improvements for MEP system design wherever possible.
• Examine the bill of quantities and work order to confirm the scope is covered and the quantities are sufficient against the project design.
• Oversee and track MEP activities with vendors in line with the construction programme and good-for-construction drawings.
• Drive planned progress while upholding quality standards and site safety requirements.
• Work closely with civil and structural, finishes, and other site vendors to keep execution aligned.
• Coordinate between the central design team and the project team to resolve design and execution matters.
• Support tender drawing preparation, bill of quantities review, vendor discussions, invoice certification, and record maintenance.

Skills and Competencies
