Maintenance Helper

Responsibilities

• Support the upkeep of the nursing center and surrounding grounds so they remain clean, safe, orderly, and presentable.
• Handle small repair work on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lights, fire alarms, and extinguishers.
• Replace filters in HVAC systems.
• Carry, lift, and stock supplies as needed.
• Step into the maintenance supervisor’s duties when that person is unavailable.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a basic understanding of wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.

Compensation

The posted pay rate is USD 13.50 per hour.
