Role overview

Turn IT On is hiring an IT Manager who is keen on technology, enjoys working in an education setting, and is eager to keep learning while delivering excellent customer service. This position is focused on keeping a school’s ICT environment reliable, secure, and effective for both teaching and administration.

The role covers oversight of the school’s ICT network, including the installation, upkeep, availability, and protection of hardware, software, and wider infrastructure. You will also work with senior leaders to support the development of IT plans and projects that improve the school’s technology provision.

In addition, you will help maintain strong communication between the school and Turn IT On, stay up to date with the services the business can offer, and manage customer accounts in line with company values.

Location and working arrangement

The job is based in Canterbury, Kent, and travel between school sites may be necessary. It is a full-year, full-time position carried out on-site.

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for the smooth running of the school’s ICT operations and for supporting staff and systems across the network.

Additional information

The salary offered is £33,000 to £41,000, with flexibility for the right candidate. A successful applicant will need to complete an enhanced DBS check.
