Role Overview
We are hiring a Level 2 IT Support Deskside Technician to join the technology team and deliver practical, hands-on support. This position is suited to someone who enjoys diagnosing issues, helping users directly, and ensuring systems stay reliable and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver second-line support both at the desk and remotely for hardware, software, and network issues escalated from first-line support.
- Identify and fix problems on Windows and/or macOS devices, including laptops, desktops, and connected peripherals.
- Set up, configure, and support workstations, applications, and operating system updates.
- Administer user accounts and permissions through Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing, provisioning, and retiring devices.
- Record and monitor incidents and service requests within the ITSM platform, ServiceNow.
- Work alongside Level 3 specialists and external vendors to resolve more complex technical matters.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles at Level 1 or Level 2.
- Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and/or macOS environments.
- Practical experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
- Understanding of core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience using ITSM systems and working within ITIL-based processes.
- Strong diagnostic ability and careful attention to detail.
