Role overview
This is a US-based HRIS and people analytics role supporting a partner organization. The position blends HR systems administration, data quality ownership, and workforce analytics to help the business make better decisions with reliable people data. The work centers on platforms such as Workday and ADP, with a strong emphasis on reporting, integration health, and turning HR data into insights for leaders.
You will collaborate across HR, Finance, and IT to strengthen data governance, improve system connectivity, and expand automated reporting. The role is highly collaborative and suited to someone who enjoys both technical system work and analytical storytelling.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and continuously improve HR platforms, including configuration changes, updates, testing, and other system enhancements in Workday and ADP.
- Maintain accurate and consistent employee data across HRIS, payroll, and connected systems by performing validation and reconciliation checks.
- Oversee integrations and data transfers between HR technology tools, and resolve system issues as they arise.
- Create and sustain dashboards, reports, and workforce metrics using HR and payroll data.
- Streamline recurring reporting through automation so insights are delivered more efficiently and with fewer errors.
- Review workforce patterns such as turnover, hiring outcomes, compensation trends, and employee movement within the organization.
- Convert complex data sets into practical recommendations and presentation-ready insights for executives and stakeholders.
- Work with HR, Finance, and IT teams to improve governance, align reporting, and strengthen system design.
- Contribute to process improvements and help build stronger analytics capability within the HR function.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in HRIS, people analytics, or a blended HR systems and data-focused role.
- Direct experience with Workday is required; ADP experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong capability in Workday reporting, dashboards, and composite reports.
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large or complex data sets.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL, or a willingness to build data querying skills.
- Solid understanding of HR, payroll, and workforce data structures.
- Ability to compare, reconcile, and validate information across multiple systems and sources.
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data in a clear business context.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to support non-technical HR users in building their analytical confidence.
