Role overview
Heartland Bank is looking for a Junior Test Analyst to join its Technology team in Auckland. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career candidate who wants to begin a career in software testing while contributing to the stability and quality of customer-facing systems.
In this position, you will be involved in planning and carrying out testing across different applications. You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and business users, while building practical experience in how technology supports business outcomes.

Skills and experience expected

- Some familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA, or comparable platforms, would be useful
- Basic exposure to web applications or APIs
- Experience preparing straightforward test cases or test scenarios
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Clear written communication for documenting tests and reporting defects
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfort using MS Office tools
