About the Role

InAir is hiring a Front-End Engineer with deep React experience to build interface-heavy applications and Airtable Custom Interfaces. This position suits someone who enjoys creating refined user experiences, working with real operational workflows, and turning structured data into app-like products.

You will partner with project managers and Solutions Consultants to convert business needs into scalable, production-ready front-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Create custom Airtable interfaces that behave like full applications and support real workflows.
Develop complete front-end features with React and TypeScript.
Turn design concepts into polished, reliable UI components with strong attention to detail.
Connect the front end with data sources and a third-party SDK that will be disclosed later in the hiring process.
Design and maintain reusable UI components, patterns, and standards that improve delivery speed.
Deliver work in small, high-quality releases while incorporating feedback quickly.
Communicate clearly in English during technical discussions and asynchronous collaboration.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience building responsive, functional front-end applications with React.
Strong command of TypeScript and scalable front-end coding practices.
Product-minded approach to UI quality, including loading states, edge cases, and performance.
Comfort working with external SDKs and independently interpreting documentation.
Ability to reason about data models and how information moves from backend or data layers into the interface.
Experience delivering complete features or applications end to end.
Strong written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience building Airtable Custom Interfaces or internal tools on Airtable.
Knowledge of linked records, rollups, and lookups in relational Airtable data models.
Background in design systems or reusable component libraries.
Basic testing exposure with Playwright or Cypress.
Experience with internal tools platforms such as Retool or Superblocks.
