Forklift Operator

Role Overview

AD Ports Group is looking for a forklift operator to support cargo handling activities in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on keeping cargo moving efficiently, maintaining equipment readiness, and working safely within the operations team.

Key Duties

• Drive different types of forklifts to keep cargo flowing smoothly in and out of the facility and support a consistently high level of operational performance.
• Inspect the forklift before each shift, confirming that all functions are working properly and that fluid levels are correct to help extend machine life and reduce downtime.
• Carry out loading and unloading in a safe manner to minimise cargo damage and reduce the risk of incidents.
• Coordinate with the Operations Supervisor and team members to complete assigned tasks and meet or exceed client expectations.
• Maintain safe working habits, support a healthy workplace, and keep hygiene standards in good order across the work area.
• Follow EHS requirements, company procedures, and all applicable local authority rules and regulations.

Health & Safety

This position carries responsibility for health and safety within the operational area.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should have completed preparatory school and bring 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
