3A Cryogenic FZE was established in 2004 in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. It serves as the sole distributor and service partner for Chart Industries, Inc. USA, along with its manufacturing bases in the Czech Republic and China. The business oversees distribution and warehousing for Chart Industries’ portfolio, including the Biomedical division, across the MENA region. It also handles Flow Instrument GMBH metering solutions and Thermax vaporizers. Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Customs Pro will take ownership of import and export customs activities from start to finish, ensuring that shipments move through clearance smoothly and in compliance with UAE and international trade rules.
Key Responsibilities
The role centers on preparing and submitting customs documents, coordinating with customs authorities and freight partners, and working closely with internal teams to avoid delays and unnecessary costs. It also requires checking HS codes, duties, and tariffs, keeping shipment records accurate, and entering clearance details into internal systems.
Additional duties include improving customs workflows over time, advising colleagues on import/export requirements, and supporting the company’s adherence to regulatory and trade compliance standards.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have solid experience in customs brokerage, including paperwork, product classification, and regulatory adherence. Hands-on knowledge of import and export documentation and online procedures is essential, along with experience coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs officials.
Applicants should be able to interpret customs legislation, free zone rules, HS codes, and duty structures correctly. Strong communication, excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several shipments and deadlines at once are important.
Experience in industrial, cryogenic, gas monitoring, or similar technical industries will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with customs and ERP software, as well as Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, is preferred. A diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related discipline is also preferred.
