About the Role

LOCAL Public Eatery is seeking a bartender for its Gastown location in Vancouver. The role is centered on creating memorable guest experiences, working with energy and professionalism, and bringing a genuine passion for the craft.

What You’ll Do

You will run the bar with confidence, deliver consistently strong drinks and service, and help make every guest interaction stand out. The position also calls for maintaining a clean, welcoming environment and being an active part of the team experience.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a busy, high-volume restaurant setting.
• Strong ability to build connections with guests and coworkers.
• A natural focus on turning first-time visitors into repeat customers.
• Willingness to keep learning and look for ways to improve.
• Liquor service certification.

Pay

The wage for this position is $18.25 per hour, plus tips.
