Assistant Store Manager

About the Role

Arc'teryx is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support the launch and growth of its new outlet location at The Mill in Alexandria, New South Wales. This position sits within the Emporium team and plays a key part in shaping a store that is more than a retail space: it is intended to serve as a community hub, a place for innovation, and a showcase for enduring design.

In this role, you will work closely with the Store Manager to strengthen team performance, improve the guest experience, and keep daily store operations running smoothly. The position is hands-on and floor-based, with a focus on leadership, guest connection, and commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, coach, and motivate the team so they deliver excellent service and meet sales goals.
• Help build a high-accountability culture that values learning, performance, and consistency.
• Take ownership of visual merchandising standards, product storytelling, and strategies that improve sell-through.
• Step in across the store as needed, whether on the sales floor or in the stockroom, to solve problems and keep things moving.
• Create a welcoming community atmosphere and bring the brand experience to life for every guest.
• Work with the Store Manager on recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing team growth.
• Contribute to strong operational execution, including labour scheduling and inventory management.
