Role Overview
This position is for a detail-oriented and client-centric Assistant Relationship Manager in Client Operations. You will help connect prospective investors, current clients, and Account Managers, making sure the client journey is smooth from onboarding all the way through ongoing account support.
The role includes support for accredited investor onboarding, client account reviews, corporate onboarding, client administration, and sales-related coordination. It suits someone who enjoys interacting with clients, keeping operations running efficiently, and working in a dynamic financial services setting.
Client Onboarding and Operations
- Oversee the full onboarding workflow for individual and corporate accredited investors, as well as trust and institutional accounts.
- Arrange collection and validation of documents, including ownership details and authorised signatory information.
- Coordinate KYC, CDD, and account opening paperwork.
- Work with clients to obtain and verify onboarding documents while ensuring all regulatory obligations are satisfied.
- Monitor onboarding status and keep clients and internal teams informed with timely progress updates.
- Keep client records accurate and up to date across CRM platforms and internal databases.
- Partner with compliance, legal, and operations teams to move account approvals forward.
Client Relationship Support
- Assist Account Managers in servicing existing clients.
- Carry out periodic client follow-ups for account reviews, profile changes, and continued engagement activities.
- Handle administrative client queries and coordinate solutions with the right internal stakeholders.
- Help maintain a consistently strong client experience across the full client lifecycle.
Sales Support
- Provide administrative assistance to Account Managers on sales activities.
- Help prepare investment collateral, subscription documents, and client-facing communications.
- Update and track sales opportunities and client activity in Salesforce or other CRM tools.
- Prepare reports and support tracking of funnel movement and conversion performance.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, client events, webinars, and investor engagement efforts.
Process Improvement
- Spot opportunities to make onboarding and client servicing more efficient.
- Contribute to operational projects and CRM improvement work.
- Ensure work is aligned with internal policies, compliance standards, and service expectations.
Qualifications and Experience
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Banking, Economics, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in client servicing, banking, wealth management, financial services operations, or sales support. Prior exposure to accredited investor onboarding and account opening processes is strongly preferred. Knowledge of KYC, AML, and regulatory onboarding processes is an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies
You should bring strong client communication and relationship management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to stay organised while managing several priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving environment. Good problem-solving ability, coordination skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, CRM experience, and a proactive, service-first mindset are also important.
