Online Teaching Intern (Work From Home, Part-Time)

About the Organisation

Pratham Education Foundation has spent the past two decades building large-scale education initiatives and is now regarded as one of India’s biggest NGOs focused on improving learning outcomes for underprivileged children and youth across more than 21 states and union territories. This opportunity is part of the Learning with Vodafone initiative, a digital education program run by Pratham Education Foundation with support from Vodafone India Foundation and Indus Towers Limited. The initiative is designed around teachers and currently serves more than 4,200 schools in 19 states, reaching over 26,000 teachers.

In 2019, the program introduced Gurushala, a platform created as a central space for teachers to find learning resources, connect with others, and continue their professional growth. The platform provides access to more than 8,000 pieces of content and 51+ online courses covering topics such as pedagogy and classroom management.

Role Overview

This is a part-time work-from-home internship focused on supporting online classes for small student groups. The role is open to candidates who can begin immediately within the stated joining window and are available for the full two-month duration.

What You Will Do

• Conduct online classes for groups of 6 to 12 students.
• Communicate comfortably in Hindi and/or English while teaching.
• Use basic computer tools confidently to support daily teaching and coordination.

Who Can Apply

This internship is open only to applicants who can work remotely from home, are able to start between 18 June 2026 and 23 July 2026, can commit to a two-month internship, and have the relevant skills and interest for the role.

Other Requirements

• A personal laptop is required for day-to-day work and collaboration.
• A dependable Wi-Fi or internet connection is necessary.
• A working microphone is needed for meetings, discussions, and virtual teamwork.
• A functional camera or webcam is required for video calls, training, and team interactions.

Perks and Working Schedule

The internship includes a certificate and follows a 5-day work week. The stipend is unpaid.
